Moving An Image To A Candle
Don’t forget to Follow Us on Tumblr and keep up with the latest in Do It Yourself Ideas.
Today we are featuring a tutorial that shows you how to press an image into a candle. Just think of the amount of images you could press onto this candle. And to top it of you can change the image based on the season that you are in. I am thinking about doing on first one with a candy cane and sled image. http://diyideas4home.com/2013/11/moving-image-candle/

DIY Decoupaged Map Desk. No real instructions but you Mod Podge maps to the drawer fronts. Warning: this could turn out beautifully (like the photos here) or like the file cabinet I made (no photos) that turned out to be my ugliest project ever - like a patchwork of maps gone horribly wrong all bubbly and bumpy. Desk and links to other posts about this amazing girls’s room at Finding Home here.

Have You Heard Of? | Mod Melts & Mod Molds
OH MY GOSH! I haven’t been this excited about a new product since Covergirl lip stains! This new product from the makers of Mod Podge is basically a form of faux resin that is shaped like a long hot glue gun stick. You pop it in your gun and push it out, the mixture is melted by the high heat of the gun and comes out like liquid. Wait a couple of minutes and the embellishment sets hard, ready for you to paint with acrylics, nail polish, glitter, paper and mod podge… endless! There is also the Mod Molds that you can use (though if you don’t find anything you like, I’m sure you could check out etsy). You can use your new embellishments for tons of things - jewelry making, scrapbooking, decorating.. I’m sure you can think of more! If, like me, you’re about to do a search to work out where you can buy these online, hold up! The new products won’t be available until July. Gah! That’s too far away! Haha! If you want to know more, check out the video here. I seriously can’t wait to try these out!
